Between November and December our partner ULL is organising first phase of their Pre-Incubation Program to support innovation and etrepreneurial curricula. They are organizing 5 Workshops dedicated different topics.

Workshop 1 took place on November 5th on Ideas & Teams  presenting practical aspects and interactive group dynamics on the different formats and spaces, group organisation, self-organisation of each participant and the formation of teams. Connecting with creativity and with the ideas proposed: What creative profile am I and how do I look after my own creativity? A space for sharing ideas. Tools for creating and analysing ideas. Knowing where we start from and where we want to focus, sharing ideas and starting to receive feedback to trace the possible path of the process.

Workshop 2  took place on November 12th on Problem definition with a practical approach to empathising as the first divergent phase in the innovation process: how to put myself in the shoes of the user and/or end customer? Open-minded, observant attitude, putting the challenge at the centre: Practical exercises that help to get out of the predetermined path and see the challenge with fresh eyes. Active listening and observation: Practical exercises to deepen our attention in listening. Defining the challenge: Converging phase tools to synthesise and move forward with the process.

Workshop 3 and 4 will take place respectively November 25th and November 26th and they will focus on Solutions and Prototypes with a practical approach to understand IDEATION as the third phase of the innovation process: expanding to leave no possibilities uncovered Creative games to diverge and produce many ideas: activating the inner child, getting out of the comfort zone, experimenting. How to avoid judgement and build on top of existing ideas: Everything has value, but nothing is sacred. Prototyping as a key phase to converge in the innovation process. Practical prototyping exercise with surprising materials. Test as soon as possible: How to do it? Overcoming demands and ideas of perfection Managing “negative” feedback and necessary changes. The “Pitch”, the persuasive presentation: every entrepreneur has to control. Practical exercises of presenting in front of the group, integration of feedback.

Workshop 5 will take place on Decembr 3rd on Start up aspects that will deal eith Practical approach to statups aspects: How do I transform my value proposition into a business? Reasons to undertake (and not to undertake). Types of companies. Entrepreneur-company responsibilities. What should I include in the Business Plan? What do companies fail to do? Entrepreneurship tools.

This program is highly consistent for IDEATION and Highly relevant for ULL with the folowing expected outcomes:

– To educate and train in entrepreneurship and innovation.

– To teach methodologies and application tools in the field of open innovation.

– To teach methodologies and tools for application in the field of agile entrepreneurship.

– Support the development of business initiatives proposed by the university community.

– To improve the entrepreneurial culture among the members of the university community.
