One of the key challenges of today is matchmaking, i.e., finding appropriate partners for cooperation no matter whether it is about scientific collaboration, manufacturing processes, logistics, sales, or even human relationships.
Globalization enabled entities with new resources, (e.g., cell phones and the Internet) to easily create and keep contact with each other. Yet, the open question is with whom shall we establish new links that lead to cooperation that will be long-term and trusted by all participating parties leading to the synergy effect?
Within the scope of WP1 “Infrastructure Sharing” the use of digital resources provides access to physical infrastructure (hi-tech equipment and devices, rooms and spaces, software, etc.) of organizations and increases its utilization degree according to the Infrastructure Sharing concept ( element of Open Innovation 2.0 – Sharing Economy). A significant improvement in infrastructure utilization rate will be achieved by building a community of users of the Open Innovation & Infrastructure Sharing platform (synergyplatform.pwr.edu.pl) and actively supporting sharing process.
Building on the Synergy Platform, which was developed, tested, and implemented by our partner Wrocław University of Science and Technolog & Centro di Ricerca e Innovazione Tecnologica in SYNERGY project (Interreg Central Europe), it will be adapted to IDEATION specific requirements. The presented infrastructure-sharing functionality should enhance the matchmaking process by linking infrastructure owners with those who want to use it. As a result, it is believed that this form of matchmaking for organizations will lead to new partnerships supported by the IDEATION project.
Here’s the video on how the platform works!
