Objectives of the IDEATION project include access to competencies and experiences and increasing the quality of innovation supporting entrepreneurial education. To do so, partners in the IDEATION project present the International Open Innovation Training (IOIT), a program that will cover state-of-the-art approaches, methods, and case studies in entrepreneurship with a special focus on Open Science and Social Product Development.

The program comprises three modules focused respectively on:

Module 1 – Innovation & Entrepreneurship,

Module 2 – Open innovation,

Module 3 – Social Product Development.

The training will be offered online via Moodle Platform “eportal”. During the training, each participant should select and watch at least 10 videos out of all video-lectures provided from the 3 modules. After finalizing the training, the participant will receive an international certificate of IOIT training completion signed by representatives of four universities – Wrocław University of Science and Technology (Poland), Universidad de La Laguna (Spain), FIR at RWTH Aachen (Germany) and Holon Institute of Technology (Israel). Furthermore, the program offers the possibility to apply for individual mentoring focused on product and business development. Only 16 participants who will present the best idea for a new (innovative) product will be selected for the mentoring program and together with a mentor will develop a prototype of the product, create a draft of a crowdfunding campaign for the same product and prepare a business plan based on the business model canvas. 

Thanks to this training program, at the end you will have familiarized yourself with the phenomenon of entrepreneurship from the business process point of view and gained a modern understanding of innovative entrepreneurship, innovation sources, and innovation organization management (integrating technological, market, and organizational changes). You will gain skills in the range of design of technological processes for designed products, including the production volume and the manufacturability of the product; skills of business plan preparation and fast and effective methods for presentation of the business idea to gain investors. You will acquire the ability to think and act creatively and logically, to solve the problems posed, and define priorities for the implementation of the task. Furthermore, you will acquire the knowledge to use the force of crowdsourcing and crowd financing during the development of the product suited for market needs and skills of searching actual products that realize defined technical problems.
